When will my Blanket Box arrive?

If the first box is to be delivered to your address, it will arrive within 5-7 days of your order. If the first box is to be delivered to the address of the couple you’re buying it for, it will deliver within 1 week after their wedding date. The second box will deliver 4 months after the wedding date, and the third box will deliver 9 months after the wedding date.

What if I want to send my Blanket Box to a different address?

When placing your order, you’ll be asked to enter both your address and an address for the couple. If you do not know their address, or perhaps they aren’t sure where they will be living yet, you can leave the form for the couple’s address blank and the box will automatically ship to the address listed with the billing information. We will contact you 2 weeks before the second and/or third box of your purchase ships so that you can update or confirm the shipping address as needed.

The second and/or third boxes will not leave our fulfillment center without your confirmation of the shipping address.

What is included in each Box?

Box 1 is the “Honeymoon” box. It includes a cozy blanket big enough for two, bath salts, a candle, a picture frame, and secret “his” and “her” envelopes with information and questions that will guide the couple through the intimate experience.
Box 2 is  the “Mini-Moon” box. This box includes gourmet scone mix, his and her coffee mugs, smooth roasted coffee, a picture frame, his and her socks, and a collateral piece that holds instructions and questions to create an atmosphere of close conversation.
Box 3 is the “Traditions” box. It includes a handmade leather journal, hand crafted love notes, another picture frame, and a set of “Pillow Talk” cards that will guide them through important questions and scenarios in their relationship. The whole purpose of this box is to encourage the couple to create traditions and build a legacy for generations to come.

How will the proceeds from my purchase be used by First Things First?

All proceeds from the Blanket Box series go towards programming, resources, events, and outreach projects to further the family strengthening mission of First Things First. The purchase of the box not only helps guide the couple you know and love, but it will also provide premarital education for engaged couples or help couples whose marriage is in distress.

Is my purchase tax-deductible?

The purchase of the Blanket Box is not tax-deductible. 

Can I add the Blanket Box to my registry?

You can always add the Blanket Box to your Amazon wish list like any other item in an online store (be sure to do it from our online store and on the specific product's page) or Thankful Registry is another great option that we are seeing some couples choose. If you are interested in doing this so that you can share your wish list with friends or family you can get the Amazon Wish List Button here and Thankful also has a browser extension. If you want to encourage friends and family to purchase the Blanket Box for you, we encourage you to share the link FirstThings.org/Box with them. Be on the lookout for more features like this in the future on web sites like The Knot or Wedding Wire.

What is the refund policy?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for the Blanket Box series due to the nature of how we source and curate the products, once an order has been fulfilled we are unable to cancel. However, your purchase is transferable. Please contact us at blanket@firstthings.org if you need to transfer your purchase.

What if I want my boxes to be delivered sooner?

We want your Box to be delivered with the utmost care and quality. In order to receive your order sooner than the estimated 5-7 days, you can choose the “express” shipping option (for a small fee) during the order process, or you can contact us directly at blanket@firstthings.org. We’ll do everything we can to help you out.

Can I schedule the arrival for my package at a later date after the wedding?

Yes. If you would like to change the estimated delivery date, you can contact us at blanket@firstthings.org after you receive your order confirmation email with the desired arrival date.

Can I buy the items in the box individually from First Things First?

Currently, all items in the box must be sold together as part of the Blanket Box series.

Can I buy Pillow Talk individually from First Things First?

Pillow Talk is not currently sold separately from the Blanket Box series.

Do you have other box offerings like this for other seasons of life?
